This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for West Central And Southwest

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop over portions of
the area this afternoon and move westward through the evening
hours. Gusty winds, lightning, and locally heavy rainfall will
accompany any stronger storms.

Several area rivers remain in moderate to major flood stage.
Though modest improvement has occurred due to the recent spell of
drier weather, Residents living along rivers or faster flowing
streams should remain aware of water levels and be ready to move
to higher ground should flooding occur. Check with your local
emergency management agency for available shelters if you are
displaced due to flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Thunderstorms will remain possible each afternoon through Monday.
Storms may product gusty winds, frequent lightning, and locally
heavy rain. A dry weather pattern will set in early next week, and
last through the remainder of the week.

Despite a period of relatively drier weather, rivers will remain
high with several remaining in flood stage through at least early
next week. Please consult the Southeast River Forecast Center for
additional details on the long term flood outlook.

Spotter activation will not be needed today.
